Catherine has showed beautiful form in recent weeks at the Caledonian, winning the 1500M women’s race on Saturday in a very impressive 4.43, the day after her 16^th birthday, a 5 second personal best and easily ahead of close rivals Billie Crowe (Aspiring) and Zara Geddes (Hill City), who also achieved personal best times. This was on top of a 3 second PB in the 1500 at the start of the season. Catherine is now ranked #8 in NZ for the U18 Women’s 1500M.

In the last month Catherine has also taken off 27 seconds off her PB for the 3000M from 10:36 to 10:09, including a huge 21 second PB 2 weeks ago. Catherine is currently ranked #5 nationally for the Women’s U18 3000M.

Catherine is confident there is more to come as her pace in the 1500M got faster on each lap, running 4:30 pace on the last lap!
